Our Story: A Legacy of Service

At Handi Built, our mission is personal.

Our founder, Philip DeSaulles, grew up in the shadow of true heroism, listening to the stories of his father, Norman DeSaulles, a proud Vietnam veteran.

Through his father’s eyes, Philip didn’t just learn about the courage required in combat; he witnessed the quiet strength required after the uniform is set aside.

Growing up, Philip saw firsthand the physical and mental hurdles that many veterans and individuals with mobility challenges navigate every single day.

He realized that for those who fought to protect our freedom, the most important freedom of all is the ability to live safely, with dignity, in the place they call home.

Handi Built was born from this deep-seated respect. We believe that because of what our veterans sacrificed for us, it is our turn to serve them. Our commitment goes beyond construction and installations; it is a promise to help you, or your loved ones, remain in your home safely and comfortably.
